Man’s body recovered from Lake Murray, Sunday
The body of a man who a witness saw go under water on Lake Murray on Saturday, has been found.
The body is that of a 65-year-old man who was found in about 45-feet of water. The body was discovered about 11 a.m. Sunday near Susie Ebert Island.
A call came into the Richland County Sheriff’s Department around 6:15 p.m. Saturday. According to a witness a man jumped into the water from a pontoon boat and he did not come back up. Dive teams from the RCSD and the Department of Natural Resources looked for the man until it got dark Saturday. The search resumed Sunday morning.
