Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died as a result of a motorcycle accident. It occurred around 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of North Royal Tower Drive in Irmo.

According to Fisher, Alfred Todd Harvey, 53, of Irmo was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained when his motorcycle collided with a parked,
unoccupied vehicle.

Harvey’s motorcycle left the right side of the road and traveled for a short distance before striking the vehicle. Harvey was not wearing a
helmet when the incident occurred. The Irmo Police Department is investigating the accident.
