West Columbia Police arrest man on a murder charge
The West Columbia Police Department has made an arrest in connection to an alleged murder that occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. Friday.
According to West Columbia Police Chief Chief Dennis Tyndall, investigators have charged Levette Omega Gladden, 21, of 1426 Platt Springs Rd., West Columbia with murder.
According to a WCPD release, Gladden got into an argument with another male individual and then shot the male killing him.
The family will be notified before the victim’s identity is released. Gladden was booked at the Lexington County Detention center, where he is currently being held and awaiting bond, said WCPD Asst. Chief Scott Morrison. West Columbia Police arrest man on a murder charge
