Lexington School District Two Delays Opening of School Two Hours
Lexington School District Two is delaying the opening of school for two hours for Tuesday, September 12, 2017, for students due to the potential storm damage from Hurricane Irma. Administrators, custodians, and food service employees are to report for work at their regular time. Teachers, teacher assistants, and office support staff are to report to work one hour later than their normal arrival time. Buses will operate two hours later than their normal operation morning times.
As a result in this two-hour delay, half-day child development classes are canceled.
