The West Columbia “Float and Freeze” down the river will be held at the Riverwalk Amphitheater on Saturday (July 29.)

City of West Columbia, SC Staff will be onsite handing out free koozies, information about the City, and Pelican Bucks to the first 100 people to come up to the tent!

Palmetto Outdoor Center will offer the standard “float” trip, which includes:
– a shuttle up stream to the Riverbanks Zoo region and a three-hour float back down to the West Columbia Riverwalk where the booth is located:

– a promo code deal for 30% off of the standard trip. (In order to receive this discount, it is required participants MUST reserve online, http://palmettooutdoor.com/, and enter the promo code: FREEZE (all capital letters))

– Shuttles run every hour on the hour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

– Early shuttles are advised for Saturdays!
*The promo code will only be active from July 23 until July 29. Those will be the only dates that an individual could sign up and receive the discount, but the date that the discount will be offered is on Saturday July 29.
