Due to rain delays, the dedication, scheduled for August 3, for the new Cayce Elementary School has been postponed. Lexington School District 2 officials said they will publish information regarding the new date for the dedication when a new date is confirmed.

Lexington County has experienced several heavy rains in recent days. The rain has resulted in flash flood warnings being issued for parts of the Midlands.
