A swimmer is missing on the Congaree River and rescue crews are on the site, looking.

Rescue crews and a helicopter are in the area of the river near the Gervais Street bridge, looking south toward the Blossom Street Bridge.

A  boat and divers were in the water looking for the swimmer Sunday afternoon.
