Pineview Elementary students conducting flower shop Friday (7 a.m.- 4 p.m.)
Fifteen fifth-graders at Pineview Elementary School will open their student flower shop at the school. Hours of operation are 7 am – 4 pm. Pick-up and delivery are available. Our flowers are florist quality roses, student-arranged, with a cut glass vase, baby’s breath and a hand-tied bow. Rose bud vases start at $7.95 and up. Wrapped roses are $3 ea.
Students will be donating 25% of our profits to both a local animal shelter as well as Toby’s Place, a housing place for homeless women and children. All remaining profit will be given to the students.
Fifth grade Students have spent several hours in flower training, planning and sales. Please take a few minutes to encourage our future entrepreneurs by supporting their business efforts.
This is a pilot program sponsored by Youth Corps in partnership with Pineview Elementary School. Youth Corps is a youth leadership program for students. They serve all seven school districts, private and home school students. They are a Midlands based non-profit. www.youthcorps.net
