In a game that included two 10-minute overtimes and two five-minute sudden death overtimes, BC defeated Hanahan, 1-0, in boys soccer Thursday night at BC’s home field, Fort Knox.

The Brookland-Cayce girls, a no. 1 seed, are still in the 3A playoffs, too. The girls are scheduled to travel to play Bluffton, Friday.

In the boys game Thursday, freshman Cameron Ramirez scored the game-winner with an assist from Noah Scott.

The Bearcats are a No. 1 seed and 3A Region 5 champions. Thursday’s win was the team’s 19th of the season.

The Bearcats move on to play either Waccamaw or travel to play Bluffton Saturday.
