The fourth annual Midlands Gives effort is a 24-hour giving event presented by the Central Carolina Community Foundation. Donors can choose to give to the West Columbia Beautification Foundation, Tuesday. It begins Tuesday and encourages individuals to donate online to their choice among more than 300 nonprofits in 11 Midlands counties.

You can donate online, or come to the live Midlands Gives event Tuesday at the S.C. State Museum in Columbia near the Gervais Street Bridge.

Midlands Gives raised $705,000 for 152 nonprofits in its first year. In three years, the number of nonprofits involved in Midlands Give has risen to over 300. About $4 million has been donated. In 2016, $1.6 million was raised. Don’t forget, Midlands Gives 24-hour giving to nonprofits, is Tuesday
