What’s Next Midlands will present FunFlicks, a pop-up drive-in movie theater at the Historic Columbia Speedway, in Cayce, this summer.
What’s Next Midlands, is a group that offers ideas to help increase the level of enjoyment in the area. It funds projects four times a year.
FunFlicks is a national franchise and it is owned and operated locally by John Banks, who is also the Historic Columbia Speedway manager.
FunFlicks provides equipment for outdoor movie. What’s Next Midlands wants to make sure lots of people come to see the drive-in movies in Cayce.
Banks noted that the profit generated by the movies will go back to What’s Next Midlands for other projects.
