The Airport High School JROTC Drill Team competed against 82 Army JROTC schools from across the country. The completion was in Louisville, KY, on Saturday.

The Airport JROTC Drill Team placed as follows:

2nd Squad Exhibition w/Arms
3rd Platoon Regulation w/ Arms
4th Color Guard
16th Platoon Inspection w/ Arms
2nd Place Runner-up overall, in the National Champions competition

The team will now be preparing to travel to Daytona Beach, Florida, to compete in the All Armed Forces National Drill Team Championship.
The Drill team’s instructor is Command Sgt. Major Harry Ferguson.
