Brookland-Cayce had a lead over Dillon  at halftime of 27-26. But the Bearcats went cold in the second half and had more than 20 turnovers due to a tough Dillon defense. Dillon won by a final score of 54-41. BC had won 15 consecutive games before the loss.

The game was played at the Florence Civic Center. It was a Lower State Final game with the winner going to the State Championship next Saturday.
