There was a reception to honor the Lexington 2 Board of Trustees Thursday. The reception was held prior to the regular meeting in accordance with School Board Appreciation Month. During the meeting Lexington 2 Board Members signed a South Carolina School Board Member Ethical Principles document.

“This is the best Board I’ve ever worked with,” said Lexington Two Superintendent Dr. Bill James. He said the board serves for “no compensation whatsoever.”

To show their  appreciation for the board, students gave gifts to the Board. The gifts were placed in the District Education Center’s lobby.
