Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual killed in the three-vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 6 a.m. on Friday.

Mary Frances Young, 58, of Columbia died at the scene due to injuries she sustained in the accident. It happened on I-20 at mile marker 47 in the eastbound lanes.

The drivers of the other vehicles involved were not injured.  An autopsy performed on Friday found that Young died from multiple body trauma.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
