South Carolina and Georgia will play on Sunday – instead of Saturday- at Williams-Brice Stadium. The day change was announced Thursday night.

Game time and TV information has not been announced.

The game is being changed because of Hurricane Matthew heading toward the state.

The latest forecast track from the National Hurricane Center shows Matthew making a sharp right turn, Saturday as it gets to South cArolina’s southeast coast, and heading out into the Atlantic Ocean.

The Columbia area can expect 2 to 3 inches of rain and gusty winds Friday and Saturday. It should be sunny Sunday and Monday.
