Lt. Eddie Powell of the Pine Ridge Police Department was named Law Enforcement Officer of the Month, Tuesday. He is pichured with PRPD Chief Billy Parker, right.
The award was given at the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber Breakfast.
Vaughan Dozier of First Community Bank- the sponsor of the award- presented Powell with the award.

Parker has had to be out of service due to medical issues- and he lauded Powell for doing a great job, standing in for him.
