The Dixie Youth Baseball World Series Champion Midland Coaches Pitch All-Stars will have a welcome home party Thursday (Aug. 4.) It’s at the Midland DYB Complex in Pine Ridge on Fish Hatchery Road.

The Midland Coaches Pitch All-Stars won the DYB World Series in Laurel, Miss. on Tuesday, beating Alabama, 7-6.

The boys will ride in at 5 :45 p.m., according to Lester Sharpe- one of the Midland Coaches Pitch coaches.

“These World Series Champs deserve a crowd so loud every state we beat can hear us,” Sharpe said. “I Hope to see all family, friends, even other teams. At the end of the day we are and South Carolina and champions.”
