Two Injured In Lexington County Home-Invasion Shootout
Lexington County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting Saturday morning near Pelion that left two people injured during a home invasion.
Deputies responded to a call of shots fired around 1 a.m. Saturday morning in the 100 block of Catherine Lane.
When deputies arrived they discovered that gunfire had been exchanged between the suspect and homeowner, with both being struck.
The homeowner is recovering from non-life threatening injuries. The unidentified suspect was listed in critical condition, but is expected to recover, according to the LCSD.
