Pine Ridge’s Daniel Bailey is National Adviser of the Year
Lexington School District 2’s Daniel Bailey received the Warren E. Shull Award for the National Middle Level Adviser of the Year. The award is given by the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Bailey is a social studies teacher and student government advisor at Pine Ridge Middle School in West Columbia.
“Words cannot express how proud we are at Pine Ridge, and all of Lexington Two, of Daniel,” said Pine Ridge Principal Brad Coleman. “It does not take a title to be a leader, but a National Championship speaks volumes.”
Bailey received the award during the 2016 National Association of Student Councils (NASC) National Conference. It was held in Portland, Oregon, Friday through Sunday (June 24–26.)
