West Columbia City Council will hold a Special Council Meeting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday (June 28) at City Hall., 200 N. 12th St. West Columbia.
The meeting is being held in the morning to accommodate everyone’s schedule, said Mayor Bobby Horton. The Final vote on three ordinances will be held.
On the agenda is: Second Reading Consideration of an Ordinance Adopting a Two Percent Local Option Hospitality Tax on the Sales of Prepared Meals and Beverages in Establishments In the City of West Columbia.
And Second Reading Consideration of an Ordinance Establishing a New Structure for Water and Sewer Service Charges, Water and Sewer Tap Fees, Deposits and all Other Fees and Surcharges for the City of West Columbia
And: Second Reading Consideration of an Ordinance Adopting a Budget for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2016 and Levying a Tax to Meet Such a Budget for the Fiscal Year
