Deputies with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department are investigating after a body was found in near the Red Bank Wal-Mart on Tuesday morning.

According to the sheriff’s department, the body was in a vehicle parked near the Wal-Mart at 1780 S. Lake Drive.

The body was that of a white male, but officials have not said, yet, if there is any criminal activity related to the case.
