Lexington County Investigators seek larceny suspect
Lexington County deputies are searching for a Pelion man suspected of breaking into a vending machine.
Three arrest warrants have been issued for 31-year-old Mitch Jeffcoat in connection with an incident at a hotel on Bush River Road May 28. Jeffcoat is charged with larceny, possession of tools used in a crime and illegal possession of a master key.
Jeffcoat forced the padlock off a vending machine, opened it with a master key and then took money out of the machine, according to arrest warrants.
Detectives said Jeffcoat is also wanted on active arrest warrants out of Orangeburg County.
