Airport defeated Hilton Head, 5-0, Friday night, in the 3A State Baseball Playoffs.
Pitcher Tanner Glen came on in relief of Josh Tucker to shut down the Seahawks. The duo combined for the shutout.
The win puts Airport in a road match-up Monday with St. James. The Sharks came from behind in the last inning last week to defeat the Eagles last Monday.
The game is for the Lower State Championship.
The Eagles will have to beat St. James twice to win the Lower State Championship.
Kyle Watts is the expected starter in the Monday St. James game.
