The City of Cayce is celebrating another successful Tartan Day South event, despite tricky weather last week.

Tartan Day South, and collection of Highland Games, bands, food and other attractions was held at the Historic Columbia Speedway.

The event had another big year, drawing around 10,000 people, from 21 states. And that’s not including vendors, athletes, or performers.

John Banks, Tartan Day South organizer, said more than 1,800 Zip Codes were recorded for the event.
