Lexington 2 employees recognized for United Way contributions

Lexington School District 2’s involvement in the United Way Campaign was recognized at the March 17 Board of Trustees’ meeting.

Below are the schools recognized.

Fulmer Middle School received the Bronze (Giving: $50-$99 per Capita) award; Principal Megan Carrero and Allison Swygert, the school’s employee campaign director, were present to accept their school;s award. FMS raised $3,197

Pine Ridge Middle School received the Trailblazer (campaigns with a 10% and at least a $500 increase in giving) Award. Brad Coleman is principal at PRMS, and Kellie Worley is the school’s employee campaign director. PRMS raised $1,701.

Congaree-Wood Early Childhood Center Employee Campaign Director : Floyd Dinkins.

Principal Nicole Singletary. Contribution was $1,467 with 94% participation

Herbert A. Wood Employee Campaign Director Angela Brown, with Principal Nicole Singletary. Contribution was $1,400 with 94% participation.

Principal Lisa Davis, pictured with Jennifer Jackson. Jane Taylor is the NMS Employee Campaign Director. NMS had 100% participation.

Brookland-Cayce High Sschool Employee Campaign Director Carla Black and Principal Gregg Morton. Contribution was $1797 with 45% participation.

FMS was recognized at the 2015 United Way of the Midlands Campaign Awards ceremony on Feb. 11, at the Agape Conference Center in Columbia.
