Batesburg Man Arrested on Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor chargeag

 South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of Brannon James Hall (DOB: 1994) of Batesburg, South Carolina on six (6) charges connected to sexual exploitation of minors.  The Lexington County Sheriff’s Office, a member of the state’s ICAC Task Force, made the arrest. 

Investigators state that Hall met the minor victim online and then engaged in sexual activity with the minor. 
Hall was arrested on January 20, 2016. Hall is charged with four (4) counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor, second degree (§16-3-655)(B)(1), a felony offense punishable by up to twenty (20) years on each count; one (1) count of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, first degree, (§16-15-395), a felony offense punishable by up to twenty (20) years imprisonment; and one (1) count of Dissemination of Harmful Material to a Minor (§16-3-385), a felony offense punishable by up to ten (10) years imprisonment. 
The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office. 
Attorney General Wilson stressed all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
