Another person has died in a Lexington County vehicle accident this weekend.

After Midnight Sunday,  a crash near George Bennett Road resulted in a fatality. The accident involved a 2006 Ford Mustang that veered off the road and hit a tree.

The incident was reported by the S.C. Highway Patrol. Lexington County Corner Margaret Fisher has not released the name of the victim yet.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the Highway Patrol report.

Mike Trainor, Jr. 39, of Lexington was killed in an accident in the 200 block of Pond Branch Road in Lexington, early Saturday morning. Link: Man killed in accident identified.
