Airport, Brookland-Cayce players named to All-Midlands team
The State newspaper released an All-Midlands football team last weekend.
The team has players from Airport High School and Brookland-Cayce High school on it.
From Airport is offensive lineman Trumaine Fleming. He is a senior, who is 6-3 and 310 lbs.
From Brookland -Cayce is Tay Pringle. He is a Junior, who is 6-3 and 260 lbs.
From Brookland -Cayce is Dominick Byars. He is a senior, who is 6-1 and 170 lbs.
On the Honorable Mention team are BC ‘s Charles Balkcom, a running back; and Airport’s C.J. Wright, a wide receiver.
BC begins its season at Fairfield-Central Friday. Airport is at home to play BC, on Aug. 28 in its first game.
