The City of West Columbia has issued a boil water advisory for water customers in the following areas: 2400 to 2700 blocks of Rainbow Drive. All addresses on Rainbow Circle, Dawn Drive, Armstrong Street, Kensington Court, and Decatur Street.

Customers in this area may have experienced low water pressure due to a break in a water line.  West Columbia crews are working to repair the break.  Once the water line is repaired and water service is restored, water customers in this area and any water customers near this area who have lost water pressure are advised to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking. Also, any ice made from water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.
