Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who was shot at approximately 4 p.m. on Tuesday, at River Oaks Apartment on Bush River Road in Columbia.

The victim is Donte Doyle, 29, of Columbia.
Doyle was transported to Lexington Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead from the injuries he sustained. An autopsy performed on Wednesday, indicated Doyle suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
The incident remains under investigation by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
