Gainey was being held at the Lexington County Detention Center, Saturday.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Saint Davids Church Road near West Columbia.
Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher said Clarke died at the scene as a result of injuries she sustained in the crash.
Gainey, was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
