Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who was killed in the two-vehicle accident on Thursday. Link here: Initial fatality report

The accident happened at approximately 6:30 p.m., in the 2800 block of Charleston Highway in Cayce. The victim in the accident is Clifton Lee Simmons, age 21, of West Columbia.
Simmons was pronounced dead at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the accident. The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.
The accident remains under investigation by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the Cayce Police Department.
