The City of West Columbia’s Meeting Street Artisan Market hours will change beginning Aug. 6. The new hours will change to 11 AM – 3 PM from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM. The Meeting Street Artisan Market is under the pavilion at 425 Meeting Street, West Columbia, in the Interactive Art Park near Savage Craft Ale Works and D’s Wings.

In addition to the new hours, an additional Thursday Night Edition of the Meeting Street Artisan Market will be held from 4 PM until 8 PM, on the second Thursday of each month.

Brittany Raven, the Event Coordinator for the City of West Columbia, announced the new hours at the regular West Columbia City Council meeting in June. She also discussed the balloon artists, face painters, musicians, or other children’s activities that will be at the market twice a month.

The market hours are changing because people start coming for lunch at Savage Craft Ale Works and D’s Wings around noon. Some will come to the market before lunch and others will come after they finish their lunch.
