Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who is responsible for the shooting death of Cayce Police Officer Drew Barr early Sunday morning at a home in the 100 block of Rossmore Drive in Cayce.

Fisher stated that the shooter is identified as Austin Leigh Henderson 36, of Cayce. Mr. Henderson later took his own life on the scene with a handgun during the incident.

An autopsy is scheduled at MUSC in Charleston later in the week.
This incident remains under investigation by SLED.
