Lexington County Fire Service and EMS responded to fire around 1 p.m., Tuesday, in the 2700 block of Pine Street in Pelion.

Upon arrival, crews found a fire in the rear of the residence and searched for an occupant after neighbors reported a possible victim trapped. The owner was not home at the time of the fire. There were no injuries on scene and the incident was brought under control in about 20 minutes. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated. (Lexington County photos)
