The ribbon was cut at Tall Oaks Boutique, 128 State Street, West Columbia, Thursday afternoon. Shoppers filled the store after the ribbon cutting for a happy hour sale, and Brickhouse Coffee and other refreshments.

Sierra Barton is the owner of Tall Okals Tall Oaks Boutique. The shop offers women’s clothing, plus sizes and children’s clothes. The WeCo River District Merchants Association hosted the ribbon cutting and happy hour. Many River District business owners came out in support of the new store.

“There is so much energy in the River District with fresh new businesses and so many entrepreneurs who want to open here,” said Steve Cohen, WeCo River District Merchants Association president. “We welcome Tall Oaks and we’re glad to have them in the WeCo River District Merchant family. It’s a great store in a great place. Tall Oaks will do well.”
