Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has released the identity of the person who was shot at the Bojangles restaurant located on Columbia Avenue in Chapin around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to Fisher, Mr. William McArthur Hicks Jr., 21, of Neeses, SC was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead due to multiple gunshot wounds.
The Chapin Police Department as well as SLED continue to investigate the incident.
