The Modern Locksmith held a ribbon-cutting ceremony, sponsored by the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Friday. It’s at 538 Knox-Abbott Drive.

“We’re exited with our expansion into Cayce,” said Guy Caskey, one of the owners. The Modern Locksmith is a part of Irmo Lock Co. Caskey said Irmo Lock Co. has has been in business 32 years. He also introduced the staff.

Cayce Mayor Elise Partin welcomed The Modern Locksmith and said the the Knox-Abbott Corridor.

Cayce Council Members Phil Carter and Time James were also on hand for the ribbon-cutting, along with State Rep. Micah Caskey. Chamber Board President Hayley Bowers was there, too.
