One person was killed in a hit-and-run, Monday, and another died after a vehicle overturned.

A pedestrian was killed on Two Notch Road at Nates Road in Columbia at around 11:09 p.m., according to Sgt. Sonny Collins of the SC Highway Patrol. The vehicle that hit the pedestrian, who was in the road, did not stop. The SCHP MAIT team is investigating and trying to find the vehicle that hit the person who was killed.

One person died when a 2011 Infiniti four-door ran off the road on Hardscrabble Road near Bush Road around 5:55 p.m., said Collins. The car overturned and the driver was killed. The car also made contact with two other cars parked in a private drive at Magnolia Point.
