Lexington Medical Center President and CEO Tod Augsburger updated West Columbia City Council about COVID numbers at the Tuesday council meeting.

Augsburger said in the last two months LMC has had a record number of COVID patients, but in the last two weeks the number of COVID patients has declined dramatically. Augsburger said there were 49 COVID patients at LMC. He also thanked everyone for their efforts and working to keep the number of COVID cases on the decline by wearing masks and getting vaccinated.
