The Tunnel to Towers Foundation Run is Friday evening,

All lanes of the Gervais St. Bridge will be temporarily blocked Friday for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation Run to commemorate the 911 attacks of 2001. The run begins at 7 p.m. and the bridge will be closed 6:45 p.m. The run route travels over the Gervais Street Bridge from Columbia into West Columbia and it turns left on Alexander Road. It will then head into the City of Cayce. Both southbound lanes on Knox Abbott Drive will be closed. Motorist traveling to Columbia from Cayce should use caution and expect delays. Motorists coming from Columbia into the Cayce area should use the Jarvis Klapman Bridge or I-77.

City of Columbia Government will also have several major roadways blocked. Please plan ahead, and allow extra time for travel.
