Black Rooster Owner Kristian Niemi received the Quarterly Appearance Award from West Columbia Beautification Foundation Chairwoman Kathy Whetzel and Vice-Chairwoman Lainie Lewis.

Niemi received the award Tuesday at the September West Columbia City Council Meeting. Council thanked Mr. Niemi for his wonderful restaurant addition in the Brookland Development and for his contribution of his culinary and business talents.
