A new supermarket and restaurant are rising out of the ground between Jarvis Klapman Boulevard and US 1 in West Columbia. The site is across from Whetzel’s Automotive.

It was announced in January that a grocery called the Supermarket Garibaldi and a Mexican cuisine restaurant would be built at the site across from the former BC Grammar School No. 1.

A metal frame has been constructed and lots of heavy machinery is on the property.
