A Brookland-Cayce High School athlete declared his intent to play football at the college level.

Senior Devonte Strader signed a letter of intent to play football with Allen University this fall.

Strader participated in a signing ceremony Friday at the school. Coaches, teammates, and fellow students attended the event, which was held in the arena’s Hall of Fame room.
