West Columbia’s Gray Collegiate Academy defeated Abbeville, 3-0, Monday in the 2A Upper State high school baseball playoffs.

The win qualified the War Eagles to play in the the Class 2A Upper State final. Gray travels to Legion Collegiate Academy Tuesday. The War Eagles need 2 wins over Legion to reach the state final

Peyton Starkey pitched in the win over Abbeville. He struck out 10.
