Airport’s Jayla Jamison has 4 top finishes at track championships; Brookland-Cayce’s Ian Myers is first in the 200 meters
Airport and Brookland-Cayce had medal winners in the SC High School League Track and Field championships, Friday.
Airport’s Jayla Jamison Airport’s Jayla Jamison ended her high school track career with 4 more first -place performances. She won the 100, 200 and 400 meters and long jump in Class 4A.
In her high school career Jamison has won 12 state championship medals. She has signed to run track in college at the University of South Carolina.
Airport’s Naizja Redding placed 6th in the 100m hurdles. The competition was held at Spring Valley High School.
Brookland-Cayce’s Ian Myers finished first place in the 200 meters. He also finished third in the 100 meters, The Bearcats placed 4th in the 4×100 meter relay. BC’s Brian Robinson finished 6th in the 200 Meter Dash It was held at Lower Richland High School.
