Airport lost to James Island in 12 innings, Monday night. James Island got a home run to win the Class 4A District 3 winner’s bracket game.

Airport Coach Tim Perry said (via Twitter) the Eagles “Left every ounce of their being on that field tonight. Stayed positive through adverse situations all night and kept competing until the last out.”

Airport will host to Hartsville Wednesday in an elimination game. The Eagles defeated Hartsville 10-9 in extra-inning game Saturday. The game will be broadcast on www.thedove1620.com
