At the West Columbia Regular City Council Meeting on Oct. 6, 2026, Mayor Tem Miles and City Council welcomed leaders from Lexington School District Two, including Superintendent Dr. Angela Cooper. Council recognized the district’s leadership commitment as they work to build “destination schools” for West Columbia students.

Guided by their “Champions for Children” leadership standard, Lexington Two is focused on five commitments: Protect Culture, Build Capacity, Create Alignment, Monitor Impact, and Own Outcomes.

The City of West Columbia appreciates the dedication Lexington Two’s leaders bring to our students, families, and community.
