UPDATE at 2:07 p.m.: Lexington High School has been cleared of any threat. All students and staff are safe. The investigation is ongoing. The call is believed to have come from out of state.

UPDATE at 1:22 p.m.: Deputies are still working to clear the school. The threat level at the school is considered low.

ORIGINAL POST:

There is currently a large law enforcement presence at Lexington High School due to a threat being called in. The school has been locked down to everybody except for law enforcement. As we work to keep everyone safe and the campus secure, no one is allowed on or off campus except for law enforcement and district/school administrators. Updates will be posted here when available.
